Books Bike - Nasr City

Book Bike is a unique library on wheels that is working to promote reading culture in Cairo. It consists of five tricycles, three of which are stationed in fixed locations and two that rotate through different areas. The bikes offer books in a variety of languages and genres, including art, history, literature, and children's books. The latter are especially targeted, as the tricycle has a specially-designed shelf at children's sight level. The Book Bike Facebook page also provides descriptions of selected books to help customers become acquainted with them before purchasing. This initiative also seeks to discourage people from buying illegally copied books from street vendors, which violates the publisher's copyrights. Furthermore, Book Bike offers a delivery service throughout Cairo within three days.
