Review of Abo El Komsan Factory For Alabaster

Excellent stop on our tour 7/2014. Craftsmen working by front entrance with colorful Egyptian artwork painted on back walls. The owner/proprietor gave an informative and entertaining presentation - in itself worth the stop. Google to see National Geographic 2011 photo contest entry (winner?). Craft by hand tools!! Very good selection. After 20 min. of on-and-off -- back-and-forth I was very pleased with a 5" green alabaster jar. GORGEOUS with candle inside - it glows through. Our group dropped some serious $$ and all were delighted with their purchases and experience.
